What are you doing after passing out from school?

After graduating from Apeejay, I pursued a BTech degree in Computer Science. At present, I am working on preparing for the GATE exam. My journey from school to my current role has been challenging and rewarding, filled with learning and growth.

How were your days at Apeejay?

A typical day at school started with a bus ride to school and a morning assembly. We had classes in subjects like English, Science, and Math along with games period to play sports and chat with friends. Lunch was a favourite time to eat and gossip. The day ended with the final bell, and we rode the bus home, talking about the day’s events.

Share any nostalgic memories from Apeejay.

One of my most cherished memories is being taught about moral values each day at school. I was also a part of the school volleyball team for four years and later became the school team captain for the girls’ volleyball team. These experiences have built me into who I am today.

What’s your biggest takeaway from Apeejay?

My biggest takeaway from Apeejay is the importance of all-round development. I learnt not only from books but also from participating in sports, clubs, and other activities. This taught me teamwork, leadership, and time management, which have been very helpful in my life. The school emphasised both academics and extracurricular activities, which helped me grow as a well-rounded person. Now I draw, sing, play guitar and excel in sports as well.

How were the teachers at school?

The teachers at school were incredibly supportive and encouraging. They were always approachable and ready to help, whether it was with academic queries or personal guidance. I remember my sports teacher in particular, who used to guide me personally, encourage me at each turn I experienced and became my friend as well, and she is still my favourite teacher.

What’s your dream and goal in life?

My dream is to innovate and contribute to technology that makes a positive impact on society. I aim to lead a team of passionate individuals in creating solutions that address real-world problems. On a personal level, I strive to maintain a balanced life, where I can continue learning, exploring my passions, and contributing to my community.

Any message for the school students.

To all the present students of Apeejay, cherish your time in school. Be curious and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, these experiences will define who you will be in future. Participate in activities, explore new interests, and build lasting relationships. Your school years are foundational, and the skills and values you develop now will guide you throughout your life.

How did Apeejay help you hone your skills?

Apeejay provided a nurturing environment that encouraged me to explore various interests. The diverse range of extracurricular activities, from music clubs to sports teams, allowed me to develop different skills. I have been involved in a variety of different skills from gardening to learning taekwondo, from studying to participating in dance acts as well as choir in school. The supportive teachers and well-rounded curriculum helped me build a strong academic foundation while also cultivating creativity and critical thinking.
