Do you want Change?
Commitment to an instruction is a function of one's understanding of its purpose.
**Prayer Changes People**
Commitment to an instruction is a function of one's understanding of its purpose. Prayer doesn't just change things; it changes people. The more we experience personal transformation through prayer, the closer we align ourselves with God.
Prayer goes far beyond altering circumstances. It fundamentally changes individuals. Luke 9:29-35 emphasizes this transformative power. While changing situations is significant, changing people is even greater.
When Moses returned from the mountain, his face shone so brightly that people had to cover their eyes. "And it came to pass, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of testimony in Moses' hand, he was unaware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord" (Exodus 34:29, KJV).
Even Jesus was transformed by the power of prayer. Luke 4:14 states, "And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about" (KJV).
Expect profound change as you engage in prayer warfare this day. When one’s level changes, it leads to higher levels of authority. Prayer builds up grace and strength against times of trouble. "If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small" (Proverbs 24:10, KJV).
Apart from wanting circumstances to change, we should seek personal transformation. The more we change, the stronger we become. Prayer elevates people’s levels of glory, authority, and mentality. The closer we get to God through prayer, the more we change to become like Him.
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18, KJV). Obedience becomes a natural lifestyle the more godly we become.
Pray persistently until you see results. To get your prayers answered, you must stay focused and targeted. It's not about vain repetition but the intensity of your demand.
1. Have a one-line intense prayer.
2. Have a one-line targeted prayer.
3. Stay focused and intense on it.
4. Don't lose your prayer objective.
When you pick one prayer point, stay focused and intense until you secure a response. Hannah's one-line intense prayer in 1 Samuel 1:11-22 serves as a model. Stay focused and be intense in your demands. While prayer will change your circumstances, personal transformation is more important to God.
What makes prayer effective is not noise but the intensity of the heart. In the midst of this, you will experience change. Here is a prophetic word for you: "You will have an encounter with God. A fresh one. You will have a visit from God and speak to Him directly. You will have a raw encounter with Him. So shall it be. You will take many territories for Jesus. This month will bring dramatic change in your life in Jesus’ name. God will continue to manifest Himself to you and through you, all day and night."
