Let's learn about computer networks.

In the world, the system of mutual connection between two or more objects or people is called a network. Similarly, the connection system for exchanging information between you and more than one computer is called a computer network.
To establish a connection between a computer and a computer, some special types of media and some peripheral devices are required. There are different types of media and network devices.
A computer network is created by connecting multiple computers to share different types of resources. The most notable things that are meant by this resource sharing are:
1 . Sharing of information resources: Everybody now searches various websites on the Internet to obtain various types of information on any topic. Or, work can be done quickly and easily by exchanging information instantly between different branches of the same organization. A computer network is required to do these tasks.
2. Software Resource Sharing Let's say an organization has six computers in one office. Each computer requires some common software, which is very expensive to purchase for each computer. In this case, by purchasing one copy of the software, the software can be used between the users through the network, which saves the organization money.
3. Hardware Resource Pair - If one printer is reduced for each computer in the above organization, then the organization will be able to purchase a printer and connect the computers to the network, saving money.
In modern information communication systems, pairing information is an important issue. In order to share information, numerous large and small computer networks exist in various nations. Many modern electronic devices are connected to these networks along with a large number of computers. Device networks can be classified from different perspectives. For instance, based on the network's size, control and service provisioning structure, network protocols, ownership, and other factors. geographical spread of networks and computers. Computer networks can be broadly categorized into five groups based on their geographical location, or how far apart one computer is from another. 1. Personal Area Network (PAN)
2. Network in the Local Area (LAN) 3. Area Network for Campuses 4. Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)
5. WAN or wide area network There are also several other computer networks.

Personal Area Network (PAN): A network that is created by connecting electronic devices used by an individual in their daily lives is also known as a Personal Area Network or PAN. Wi-Fi makes it possible to create a network system that can be used by just one person in the same room. This network typically has a width of up to 10 meters. PAN devices can be connected through USB, Fire ware Bus or Wire Medium. PAN devices include desktops, laptops, cameras, digital cameras, sound systems, PDAs, mobiles, scanners, printers, etc.
Twisted pair cable, coaxial cable, optical fiber cable, or radio waves are the transmission media. The most common type of coaxial cable is 10 base 2. This is talking about the standard Ethernet and IEEE 802.3 cable. The most common Ethernet standards are as follows-
Name :- 10 BASE 2, 10 BASE 5, 10 BASE T,10 BASE F.
Cable :- Thin Co-axial,Thick Co-axial,Twisted Pair (U TP Cat 3/5), Fiber Optic Cable.
Max Cable Length/Segment :- 185 Meter,500 Meter, 100 Meter, 2 Km.
Nodes/Segment :- 30, 100, 1, 1.
Bus, bus, star/tree, star/tree are the topologies. Two or more LANs can be connected with CAN. CAN is larger than LAN but smaller than MAN. CAN is formed by LANs installed in different parts of the campus like schools, colleges, universities etc. For instance, CAN connects LANs in a variety of university buildings, including the administrative building, academic building, library building, student center, residential halls, gymnasium, and others. Its extension can be from. to. kilometers. as a medium for transmission, twisted pair
