There are various career opportunities available for education graduates. Besides teaching, you can work in jobs like corporate training, counseling, and so on.

With a degree in education, you can pursue a wide range of career options, including the following popular positions:

1. Corporate Trainer:

Corporate trainers are experienced individuals who provide training to different groups of employees. Their responsibilities include: identifying training needs and scheduling training sessions; designing effective training programs; conducting seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions; preparing educational materials; managing training budgets; monitoring employee performance and response to training; mentoring new employees and so on.

2. Career Counselor:

Career counselors are professionals who help people choose careers and achieve their career goals. They work with clients to help them enter the workforce, change careers or find employment opportunities. People who work in this field are employed by schools, government agencies, private businesses and community agencies, among others.

3. Instructional Designer:

Instructional designer’s job responsibilities include: developing and designing courses; editing and developing online learning materials; designing learning activities, assignments, and assessments; developing teacher manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools; collaborating with subject experts to develop course content; keeping instructional design current Best practices; training faculty, students, and staff on how to use learning technologies and more.

4. Education Director:

Education director oversees all aspects of the school's educational program. They can oversee everything from curriculum development to teacher training to student assessment. They may also be responsible for establishing partnerships with local businesses or other organizations to provide greater opportunities for students outside of the classroom. Other responsibilities include: developing budgets and financial plans to ensure the school has adequate funds to operate efficiently; overseeing school operations; overseeing the school's curriculum development and academic standards; ensuring that all students receive appropriate educational services, such as counseling, tutoring, or special education plans and more.

5. Academic Counselor:

An academic counselor is a college or university advisor who helps students make academic and career decisions. They may provide advice on course selection, major selection, and taking advantage of opportunities such as study abroad and extracurricular activities. In addition, they may provide more specific advice on entering the workforce, applying for higher education courses and applying for scholarships or internships.

6. Educational Researcher:

Educational researchers are professionals who create and research information about specific aspects of education. These researchers provide an in-depth understanding of current issues in education from pre-K through colleges. To become an educational researcher, one must obtain at least a master's degree. This advanced degree can be in areas such as research measurement, research evaluation, or educational research.

7. Educational Policy Analyst:

Educational policy analysts look at the education system and analyze policies to determine if it is meeting its goals or if changes are needed. Policy analysts research topics, collect data, analyze information, monitor events, write reports and make recommendations to advocate for what they believe are critical elements. Also, they will evaluate the success or failure of existing policies and model how proposed policies will impact students, teachers, budgets, and districts

8. Principal:

Principal oversees the day-to-day activities and operations within the school. Their main responsibilities include managing school logistics and budgets; setting learning targets for pupils and teachers in line with the national curriculum; monitoring and reporting on teacher performance; researching new resources and technology to improve teaching; interviewing and hiring school staff; reviewing and implementing school policies; provide guidance and consultation to teachers; handle emergencies and more. To be successful in this role, you must be able to make decisions quickly under pressure and have a thorough understanding of the national education system and its regulations.
