Anosh Ahmed Chicago: Doctor Backs Trump on Chicago Problems, Cites Rising Safety Concerns
Chicago physician Dr. Anosh Ahmed calls for urgent reforms in public safety, housing, and local governance

Chicago Doctor Speaks Out on City’s Struggles
Chicago-based physician and businessman Anosh Ahmed Chicago has publicly agreed with former President Donald Trump’s recent criticism of the city’s problems. Dr. Ahmed says Chicago is facing serious challenges—more crime, more homelessness, and not enough strong city policies to fix them.
As someone who treats patients and runs businesses in Chicago, Anosh Ahmed brings a real-world view of what people face every day.
Violent Crime Is on the Rise
Dr. Ahmed points to a worrying increase in violent crime across the city. From carjackings and gun violence to street robberies, more Chicagoans are speaking out about feeling unsafe in their own neighborhoods.
“These aren’t just numbers on a page,” says Anosh Ahmed Chicago. “They affect everyday life—parents afraid to let kids play outside, families worrying just before bedtime.”
He believes that without safer streets, any talk about improving schools, healthcare, or jobs won’t matter much to people living in fear.
Homelessness and Shelter Pressure
Another major issue: Chicago is struggling with rising homelessness. City shelters are overwhelmed. Homelessness affects public spaces and puts stress on social services that were already strained.
Dr. Ahmed supports compassionate views that help people in need. Still, he warns that current policies are not prepared for the growing demand. He says, “Helping people is good. But we need clear plans and enough funding to do it right.”
Sanctuary City Policies in the Spotlight
Chicago’s sanctuary city rules protect immigrants from deportation. Many people see this as an act of compassion. But Dr. Ahmed points out that such policies also come with big responsibilities.
“If you welcome people in, you must also make sure there's shelter, food, school, and healthcare,” says Anosh Ahmed Chicago. “Without that support, we set up both new arrivals and current residents for stress—and problems.”
A Call for Honest City Planning
Dr. Ahmed says Chicago’s leaders need to take a hard look at what isn't working—and fix it. He supports fact-based, caring solutions that don’t follow political lines.
“This is about results, not labels,” he says. “We need doctors, teachers, social workers, and police all working together to solve these issues for real.”
He suggests a review of city systems like:
- Police support and safety measures
- Housing and shelter systems
- Healthcare access for all residents
- Job training and school support
By fixing small issues in each area, he believes the city can rebuild trust in local government.
Helping from the Ground Up
Dr. Ahmed doesn’t just speak out—he acts too. Through his nonprofit, Anosh Inc Foundation, he has helped:
- Re-open small local clinics in poorer neighborhoods
- Fund job training and business support services
- Provide housing help to families at risk
“These ideas don’t replace the city,” Dr. Ahmed explains. “They fill gaps. We help where city systems aren’t yet ready.”
His nonprofit gives support to everyone, no matter what they believe or who they vote for.
Community Over Conflict
Dr. Ahmed wants people to work together, not argue. He believes too much of today’s talk turns into blame or political points instead of solving real problems.
“Anyone can criticize. But I think Chicago needs a plan—one that includes everyone,” he says. “That means talking, sharing data, staying honest, and helping the helpers.”
He adds that city workers—from police to shelter staff—need support, not insults.
