Welcoming everyone with warmth and enthusiasm, the Principal Ms Sangeeta Nistandra extended heartfelt greetings which included over 250-300 parents, teachers, and students.

The event commenced on a solemn note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp amidst holy chants, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment followed by an invocation dance seeking the blessings of the Almighty. This was followed by an inspirational video- Journey of a Leader – showcasing the visionary contributions of the Founder-Chairman Dr Stya Paul and Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia in shaping Apeejay Education as a beacon of knowledge, integrity, and character.

Taking the centrestage, Dr Sumandeep Kaur spoke “ Witnessing the students’ marvellous performances and the dedication of the Principal and staff reminds me of my school days, where such moments inspired curiosity and aspiration. I recently joined the vibrant city of Jalandhar and am captivated by its culture, heritage, and warmth. It is heartening to see the school’s alignment with the city’s No to Plastic initiative, a cause close to my heart. Together, we can contribute to a cleaner and greener society by adhering to traffic rules, proper waste management, and reducing plastic usage. Mahatma Gandhi once said, ‘Be the change you wish to see’. This resonates deeply in shaping young minds. Thank you for this enriching experience. Let’s work together to make a meaningful impact on our community and beyond”

After extending a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests, including the PCS Joint Commissioner, the Principal said: “It’s a privilege to reflect on the vision of our Founder-Chairman, Dr Stya Paul, whose legacy is carried forward by Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia. One of the highlights of the event was The Untamed Magic of the Sea, which took the audience on a mesmerising journey through the mysteries of marine life. This was followed by Believer, a tribute to the spirit of determination and perseverance. A lively Laughter Dance infused joy into the proceedings, showcasing the importance of laughter for well-being.
