One example of African music that has gained international recognition is Afrobeat, which originated in Nigeria in the 1960s. It is a mix of traditional African music, highlife, and jazz.

African Dance

Dance is another significant aspect of African culture. It is often used during celebrations and rituals. African dance styles are diverse, and each region has its unique dance style. Some of the popular African dance styles include the Masai jumping dance, the Yabara dance, and the Zulu dance. It is fantastical, illuminating, complex, and in its purest form, beautiful beyond measure. African cuisine has gained a lot of international recognition, and many chefs around the world are incorporating African ingredients and cooking techniques into their dishes.
