NLSTSE or The National Level Science Talent Search examination is a diagnostic skill test conducted by the Unified Council that lets students upgrade and improve their learning abilities and educational performance in the field of Science. The specialty of this exam is that it asks concept-based questions to assess the conceptual clarity of students and also provides them with feedback on the same.
The Unified Council has been conducting exams in countries like India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, Indonesia, Oman, Russia, Kuwait, Nepal, Iran, Tanzania, etc, since 1998 and promoting healthy competition among bright candidates.

NLSTSE Eligibility Criteria
Students studying in standards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, are eligible to appear for the exam.
Students studying in class 11th and 12th in PCM and PCB are also eligible to appear for the exam.
The schools should be associated with NLSTSE or if not, then individual entries can also be accepted.
How to Apply for National Level Science Talent Search Exam
Below, the step-wise guidance has been given to apply successfully for the NLSTSE exam:-
First, visit the official website of NLSTSE, i.e. – unifiedcouncil.com
You can see a link saying “ Click here for Online Registration of Individual Students for NSTSE, UIMO, UIEO & UCO” and click on the “Register Here” button below.
Click on the button that says “Click Here to register”.
Now, you have to select the class you are in. After selecting your class, a list of Olympiad Exams will open.
Important points:
The type and level of difficulty of questions will differ from one class to another.
Questions will be asked in MCQ format.
There is no negative marking in the exam.
Time duration of the exam is 1 hour/60 minutes.

1) The important key to cracking the NLSTSE exam is to practice. Practice your paper according to the syllabus as much as you can.
2) Practice taking mock-test papers and sample papers in the given exam time frequently to assess your progress, in the given exam and to also practice time management.
3) Make sure you only study relevant rather than unnecessary and too much material. Rely on NCERT and other important books for study.
4) Grab the concepts clearly and be sure to improve your weak areas.
5) Stay healthy. Take short breaks in between. And keep your mind fresh.
