“A Thrilling Story ” one of my Custom Printing T-Shirt Order…

Few months ago I received an order which is 200 t-shirts with No printing. Usually we do custom printing.

We confirmed the order with some 50% Advance. The event will be held on 4 days away. We were processing based on the deadline. Usually we make t-shirts in ware house and imported to our head office. Then we deliver to customers.

The t-shirts were ready and dispatched very next day when the order confirmed. Usually one day take shipping from warehouse to our head office. We used third party shipping providers. In this case I expected the next day delivery unfortunately I did not received it on next day. Having One more day for that event which is very crucial stage and I realized that’s something unexpected things happening, the product was missing from the parcel service. They did not even worry about it. I personally went there and searching 3 to 4 branches in their offices but I did not find my stuff.

Client were expecting the on time delivery, I was worrying about explain the situation. They are not accept this I knew. Almost done evening 6 but there was no clue about my parcel. Almost spent 7 to 8 hours for searching the parcel but no use. The staff in the parcel offices blaming one to others but no one take responsibility for that process failure. This is what most of the startups were failed.

Around 6.15 I got a call from unknown number and the person saying that “your parcel mistakenly sent to me” and he connected with me based on the number which is written on the parcel. The parcel service providers made some mistake about tracking number entered incorrectly on my parcel. He is from different district around 400 kms from my place. We had about 12 hours for delivery I requested to him to send the parcel thru govt bus. It would take around 8 hours to reach my destination. that would be comfortable to deliver on time.

Initially He refused because as per process he should submitted the parcel to that same parcel service and make complaint so that they will investigate the issue and solve it. It would take around 3 days ransom. Obviously I don’t have 3 days for my delivery time.

So I started convincing him and he understood the situation and accepted my request. He came to bus stop to send my parcel which nearly 15 kms from his home to bus stop. Meanwhile he got the call from the parcel service and they gave instruction that they need to surrender incorrect parcel with complaint.

The person again went to parcel office and handover my parcel as per process. I called him to know about the status and he said surrendered the parcel to the parcel office. Which is so annoying and even frustrated.

I was shocking and came to some conclusion “the product not deliver on time”.….

Because there no positive things happening around me. But I continuously trying to call almost 10 to 15 persons in that parcel offices and branches because I don't want to fail the delivery.

One person on the parcel office understood the situation and helped me to release the parcel then handover to that person again.

Process are making for customer satisfaction so sometimes in business we break the process and do customer service properly and making them happy.

I requested the same person again to put the parcel on the govt bus.

Finally he done his job and sent the parcel thru bus. I rec’d the parcel midnight and delivered early morning to the concern person. The whole night was knight mare. I was not sleeping whole night.

“Every minutes was so thrilling during that day and the incident of course. I never forget this one, in my entrepreneurial journey.

It was most thrilled story and I never forgot this.
