The Forest

That night I went many, many miles away

That night I went many, many miles away. It was a flight to go, with huge black wings, darker than the color of the night sky. The wind whistled past my ears and under my wings, and below me were white rivers and red forests and purple forests and blue oceans. They were close together, the edges blending into the most beautiful dividing line. There is not a single mountain here. I kept flying.

Suddenly I spotted a special forest - I couldn't quite describe its color, just as far as the eye could see, glowing in an eerie blue. So I flew down.

It was strange that it was raining so heavily inside, washing straight down. I stood on the soft, wet ground, covered with dead grass, fallen leaves, and moss. The wings were drenched and drooped innocently. But I didn't feel the cold. In the distance, there was little green luminescence in the bushes faintly. Then I remembered the legend, about the long-eared rabbit and the little girl, about the distant legend of green fluorescent mushrooms. For a while, I didn't know what to do next.

Then I heard the slightest sound of speech.

I never knew that I could meet the little prince, here. He slowly walked toward me. Still pale, his golden hair was not wet from the rain. The red long-tailed animal next to him must be the fox he had tamed. When I didn't know what to say, he opened his mouth first.

Would you like to see the mushrooms that can bring people back to life in the fluorescent forest?

Then he did not wait for me to speak, he took my hand and walked deeper into the forest. On the way, he said to me that the fox was with him all the time. He also said that there were no mountains here and that it was hard to see a full sunset with all the forests everywhere. When he said this, I saw dampness in his deep blue eyes. After a while, he asked me, "When are you leaving? Do you still want to go? When I finally spoke, I realized I couldn't hear my voice. It turned out I couldn't speak.

So I shook my head sadly.

Don't you know? He said. And didn't look at me.

I nodded my head.

Then he suddenly turned around and walked under a huge mushroom. A mushroom is as tall as a two-story building. The ground was sprinkled with green glowing spores the size of hazelnuts.

Here it is. He said he bent down and picked one up and put it in my hand.

Keep it. He still didn't look at me. He turned around. That would make me happy. I looked at his thin back and nodded vigorously. The fox finally spoke, it said to the little prince, if you feel sad or miss me, you must come to me, I will always be waiting for you to come. The little prince did not say anything.

I stood still and watched the fox run away until it disappeared.

It saved me. It sucked out the venom with its mouth, put the spores in my mouth to summon my soul, carried me from the distant Sahara to the fluorescent forest, and never left again. It seems that I am worrying na. After saying that he laughed to himself. The cheerful voice was like the wind chimes in spring, which made me feel familiar. I walked over to him and straightened his slightly messy hair, which was as golden as a ripe wheat field.

I knew you would never leave. It was my rebirth to meet you. He looked me in the eye and said.

I knelt and picked up a branch to write in the dirt under the giant fungal umbrella.

I saw that not far from here, at the edge of the forest, was an ocean, and the setting sun at sea level colored the forest red. Tomorrow at sunset, could we not plant bright red roses all around that? Then I looked around at the glowing spores.

He smiled happily and said, yes, of course, the fox can help us find the seeds.

Then the rain suddenly stopped.
