The Five Roommates

Tragedy Strikes in a College Dorm

By Ariana JeanPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

The dorm room was small, but cozy. Five girls had decided to room together during their first year of college. They were all excited to start their new lives and make new friends. Little did they know that their lives would soon take a tragic turn.

The first girl was named Sarah. She was a shy girl from a small town who had never been away from home before. She was excited to start college, but also very nervous. Sarah had a secret, though. She had been struggling with depression for years, but had never told anyone.

The second girl was named Emma. She was outgoing and confident, the opposite of Sarah. Emma was excited to start college and make new friends. She had a boyfriend back home, but she was determined to enjoy her new life and not let him hold her back.

The third girl was named Rachel. She was a quiet girl who loved to read and write. She was excited to start college and study literature. Rachel had a secret too. She had been struggling with an eating disorder for years, but she had never told anyone.

The fourth girl was named Olivia. She was the life of the party and always had a smile on her face. Olivia was excited to start college and make new friends. She had a secret as well. She had been struggling with drug addiction for years, but she had never told anyone.

The fifth girl was named Emily. She was the leader of the group and always kept everyone organized. Emily was excited to start college and study business. She had a secret too. She had been struggling with anxiety for years, but she had never told anyone.

At first, everything was going great. The girls had a lot of fun together and made new friends. They were all doing well in their classes and were looking forward to the future. But then, tragedy struck.

One night, Sarah couldn't take it anymore. She had been feeling more and more depressed and alone. She didn't want to burden her roommates with her problems, so she decided to take her own life. The girls were devastated. They had no idea that Sarah was struggling and they felt guilty for not being there for her.

After Sarah's death, the group started to fall apart. Emma became more and more distant, unable to deal with her own feelings of grief and guilt. Rachel's eating disorder got worse and she stopped eating altogether. Olivia turned to drugs to cope with her pain. Emily became overwhelmed with anxiety and couldn't keep up with her schoolwork.

The girls tried to support each other, but they were all struggling in their own ways. They were lost and didn't know how to move on from Sarah's death. They missed her terribly and wished they could go back to the way things were before.

In the end, the girls all went their separate ways. They graduated from college and started their own lives, but they never forgot about Sarah and the tragedy that had brought them together. They learned that it's important to reach out for help when you're struggling, and that you should never keep your problems a secret. It's okay to ask for help, and it's okay to be vulnerable.

The dorm room where they had all lived together was now just a memory, but the bond they had formed would never be broken. They had gone through a tragedy together and had come out the other side stronger, even though they had lost one of their own.

The girls learned that life can be unpredictable and that it's important to cherish every moment with the people you love. They realized that they needed to take care of themselves and each other, and that mental health was just as important as physical health.

Years later, the girls reunited for a memorial service for Sarah. They were all different people now, but they still had a special connection. They talked about their lives and the lessons they had learned since they had last seen each other. They shared their struggles and successes, and they laughed and cried together.

As they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways once again, they all knew that they would always be there for each other. They had been through a tragedy together and had come out the other side with a newfound appreciation for life and the people in it.

The title of their story could be "The Tragic Bond: Five Girls' Journey Through Grief and Growth". The subtitle could be "A Story of Friendship, Mental Health, and the Importance of Asking for Help".
