How I relate to Bunnies

Bunnies are the Best!

Whenever I get asked about what animal I consider to be my spirit animal, I always say the bunny. Bunnies are my favourite animal. They are so sweet and cuddly. Looking at them just melts my heart. My boyfriend has a pet bunny, but his family does not interact with it. I wish his bunny would not be so afraid to interact with others, but that is going to take some time because all everyone does is give her food and then leave her alone. My actual zodiac animal sign is the tiger, but I am nothing like the tiger. Here are some ways I relate to these beautiful adorable creatures:

Sensitivity

Bunnies are sensitive creatures. One example of bunnies demonstrating sensitivity is that they can get jumpy when a stranger comes near them. They may also be startled by loud noises. Some of the ways my sensitivity is shown is when I give too much thought into something, for example, in my current relationship, at first I was too shy to visit my boyfriend's house to surprise him, I kept asking myself, what if I come at a wrong time? What if he gets upset when he sees me? Luckily, he was beyond happy that I surprised him. Another way I show sensitivity is when someone is emotional I also become emotional. I do not know why, but crying does not take forever when it comes to me. When we show our sensitivity that is proof that we notice the littlest things that seem off, and we cannot simply let it go. Sensitivity is associated with weakness, but I think that it only demonstrates that people are aware of what is going on. Being sensitive also shows that people are not cold-hearted and it allows them to think deeply.

Timidness

Bunnies are shy animals, they do not easily get close to someone. It takes time for them to be confident around their owner. They are initially very cautious in the beginning, which is a normal behaviour. In my case, timidness has always been a part of me. Whenever I am with a group of people, I only do small talk. I feel that talking too much all the time is unnecessary and I would rather be known as the shy girl than the most annoying girl who can never be silent. Being shy, however, is not something that can prevent me from being successful. I always thought successful people did not have any timidness in them, but the reality is that shy people can also manage to reach their goals. I have been timid all my life, and I am proud of the things I have accomplished. There is no need to be cocky to be successful.

Affectionate

Some of the ways bunnies show their affection by grooming their owners, they always want to be pet if they are coming up to you and look for your hand, and they place themselves in their owner's lap; this demonstrates complete trust. I love giving hugs, but of course, not right away. For me, I actually wait for the other person to make the first move because it would be so embarrassing for me to go to someone and hug them and they reject me. Not everyone is very affectionate. Whenever I spend time with my boyfriend, I love caressing his back and face, and I love when he is hugging me while driving. Being affectionate does not always have to do with physical touch. A wife cooking for her husband with so much love and effort is also a sign of affection. Once in a while, I surprise my boyfriend with gifts and write him love letters to remind him that he still has my heart.

I Would be a Bunny

Without any doubt, if I were to be an animal, I strongly feel that I would be a bunny. Bunnies are delicate creatures, and should be surrounded by people who actually care about them and treat them like family.
