That didn't just happen

You know when you are just sitting reflecting back on all your life and then there is this thought that creeps in and you say to yourself "Oh S**T" I forgot about that and then roll about laughing. Well I am going to share one of my most embarrassing moments. I had just had a baby and me and the other half were getting back into our sex life when he proposed we make a video of us, I agreed after all he was my husband and it sounded fun and spontanious. We did the deed and watched our movie back then it was put away in a safe place.

Every mum loves to watch their child grow, we take footage of every mile stone and famiy moments. One day I got a call from my mother n law inviting us for a family meal, she had invited the whole family. Her sister was up from England and she had never met our child before and so we decided to take the footage we had of her and show it to the family.

Well.... we had our meal it was lovely and we all sat around the table sipping wine and talking about life, we had dessert and I helped clear away the dishes and get the kitchen nice and tidy as a gesture of good will. Then we all made our way to the sofa's we had a game of charade's which I am absolutley terrible at, mainly due to feeling embarrassed in front of people and then my mother n law said "why don't we watch the footage of the baby" good idea I thought... how wrong I was!

My hubby got the tape and placed it in the VCR... yes this was a long time ago DVDs were not invented by this time. Now I feel old!! anyway back to the story. He sat back on the sofa beside me and took the remote and switched the TV on, all of a sudden the screen flickered, and then to my horror the image of me and my husband having sex was in full view. It was the sex tape me and my hubby had made, he had only gone and brought the wrong tape. As I sat there I felt myself sinking into the sofa my cheeks burning with embarrassment. We had only gone and shown the whole family our sex tape by accident. Everyone's eyes were on us and we had not a word to say but give a shy smile. The whole room then erupted in laughter, thank god they saw the funny side.

I gave my hubby a look that said you idiot what have you done, he looked at me and just shrugged. Nothing we could do about it now the image of us having sex was on everyone's mind. Thank goodness they all saw the funny side, we laugh about it to this day. If anyone is thinking about making a sex tape with their other half put it away safely, don't do what we did, and show the whole family. Safely to say we didn't make another and we destroyed the tape just to ensure it never happened again. Got to laugh!!
