You have changed

By AsmaPublished 11 months ago 3 min read

"You have changed,

You have changed, like the color changes in the sun

I can no longer see that old face in your eyes

"You have changed, like the color changes in the clouds,

The things I once said to you, now merge into the past

"You have changed, like the clouds cover the face of the moon,

The smile that was yours, now disappears in the silence of the nights.

"You have changed, like a new color comes into the air,

The paths were the same, the dreams were the same, but now you are not in them.

You have changed, like autumn comes in the spring,

In your silences, those previous things are no longer there

“You have changed, like the moonlight of the nights is now dim,

The moments that were once yours, now that moment becomes deserted by itself

“You have changed, like the echo of heads in music ends,

What was once your laughter, now becomes deserted in the depths of the heart.

You have changed my heart, like a moonlight disappears in dreams,

What was your smile, now remains as a shadow in my eyes.

“You have changed, like an image disappears in the mist of time,

What we were, now cannot be found anywhere in your memories.

You have changed, like the falling of leaves from the branches of trees,

What was your voice, now silences in the corners of the heart and scatters

You have changed, like a void fills in memories,

What was your laughter, now disappears in my solitudes.

You have changed, like the changing colors of the seasons,

The moments that were with you, now flow as sand in the streets of the past

You have changed, like the scent disappears in the seasonal winds,

What was once your relationship, now gets lost somewhere in the depths of the heart.

You have changed, like the treasure of the heart decreases,

Even the scent that reached you, now passes by you and mixes with the soil

“You have changed, like silence falls in the depths of the river,

What was once your touch, now gets cold and scatters somewhere far away

“You have changed, like the banks of a river fading away,

The one you were, is no longer there, and I cannot find you either.

“You have changed, like the color changes in autumn,

The fragrance that was yours, is now lost in the wind

“You have changed, like there is no shadow in the light,

Those words, those promises, everything is now just a myth.

“You have changed, like the color fades away in the sun of time,

The voice that was once yours, is now lost somewhere in the depths of the heart.

"You have changed, as if there is silence in the heartbeat,

The one you were, now in these very moments we find ourselves strangers

"You have changed, as if there is a lack of light in the darkness of the nights,

The one we were, now we can no longer see your face in these words

"You have changed, as if the colors of roses have faded,

The one who was once in your eyes, now drowns in sorrow and flows away.

"You have changed, as if a storm passes silently from the sky,

The one who was your hand, now becomes the disappearance of candles in my destiny

"You have changed, as if loyalty is snatched from the tongue of promises,

The one you were, now becomes a strange color in my prayers too.

O you who live in an ignorant heart, why have you changed?

You have not said anything yet, neither have you heard,

Don't say we have found

Still, why have you changed...
