Girlswithlove Review 2025: What’s New, What Works, What Doesn’t

While I have been testing different platforms, I came across the article that said Girlswithlove made some updates in 2025. “Interesting”, I thought, and started to dig to see what exactly had changed. And guess what? A lot! Literally, from the design to the functionality changed 180 degrees and turned out, in a better way.
So, let me be the one to share with you these updates: what changed, what stayed the same, and many more. And if you have been wondering whether Girlswithlove is worth your time in 2025, this review will help you decide.
What Is Girlswithlove?
If you have never heard of Girlswithlove, it is basically a dating platform that you can use to find like-minded people from any country in the world and even form some kind of relationships.
To make sure it is true, I tested it myself, and literally after around 4 days of doomscrolling through profiles, I found this girl who had the exact same interests as me: collecting DnD minis and playing the drums. “Pretty cool”, I thought, and after some time, we were already chatting like we knew each other for ages.
What else to mention? Girlswithlove has a clean design and simple navigation. It is easy to figure out where everything is, even if you have never used this type of platform before. Additionally, there are a lot of features that you can try (I will discuss them soon).
What's Cool on Girlswithlove
So, what exactly has changed? Since I never used it before, it would not be fair to tell you that “I know it because I was there before the update”. This is why I decided to find some users' reviews that were made before this update, and here’s what changed on Girlswithlove based on those comments:
Search filters. Some users mentioned that the search filters now show a lot more precise results compared to how it was before. Before, it was only filtered by online/offline, but now you have “Country”, “Age”, and “Gender” filters.
Added mail feature. The Girlswithlove chat features got a refresh in 2025. Before, they had only a chat tool, which allowed only quick messages. However, now, they added a feature that allows messages to go up to 3,500 characters per message.
Better mobile experience. While there's still no dedicated app, the mobile website works smoother than before. I tested it on my phone, and the loading time is now around 1 second, when, based on users’ reviews, it could be up to 4 seconds. The buttons are also easier to tap, which makes navigation less frustrating.
Advanced moderation. The platform also improved its content moderation system. Several users mentioned that now, when you report suspicious activity, the moderation team deals with it within a few minutes. Before, it took a few hours to do.
What Works and What Doesn't on Girlswithlove
After spending time on the platform, I found several things that work really well and what I'd love them to change as soon as possible.
The good side
The Girlswithlove interface is simple and easy to navigate. I didn't need a tutorial to figure things out. Communication tools work well, and I especially liked the draft feature that saves unfinished messages.
Customer service responded within 24 hours when I had questions about my login issue (the platform didn't let me in, even though everything I entered was correct). Security measures are decent: encryption, email verification, and profiles hidden from search engines.
The not-so-good things
Unfortunately for app-lovers, there's no dedicated mobile app, which is my biggest complaint. Most useful features require Girlswithlove credits (it means you basically pay credits for what you use, no monthly subscription). However, the free features are pretty limited (little to no way to chat with users if you have no credits.
When it is an especially busy day, you won't be able to connect with customer support no matter what, and your issue will take hours or even days to get resolved. Finally, the platform has strict content restrictions, and there's no ID verification beyond email, so you need to stay cautious.
My Experience With Girlswithlove Features
During my testing, I spent time with each major feature to see how well it works. Here's how it turned out:
- Search function. Love it. Especially now that I can filter it more precisely.
- Newsfeed. Pretty good. I followed several people and could see what they post and like.
- People page. Fun to use. This feature works like a carousel where you see suggested profiles. You can like or skip them.
- Girlswithlove live chat. Regular tool. The chat feature is solid. Girlswithlove messages were sent quickly, and I didn't experience any technical problems. I was also able to send stickers and photos, which was fun.
- Interaction tools. Liked them! I tested the like, wink, and follow features. They all work as expected. The wink feature is my favorite since this way I can show someone I'm into them without being too pushy (remember, you can send one per person, so think twice).
- Drafts. A useful feature. A few times, I closed the chats and almost had a stroke when I realized I didn't hit the Send button. However, the Drafts feature saved those messages.
What Other Users Say: Girlswithlove Reviews

Overall, when I read the Girlswithlove reviews, people were divided into two categories: those who liked it and those who felt like they wasted their time. Here’s a little overview of the general messages I found:
- Large community with variety of profiles
- No mobile app
- Simple design and easy navigation
- Most features require payment
- 2025 updates improved the experience
- Slow support during busy times
- Strong security measures
- Weak verification (email only)
Final Verdict: Should You Try Girlswithlove in 2025?
After testing the platform thoroughly, I can say that Girlswithlove made some real improvements in 2025. The updates to the search function, messaging interface, and mobile experience make the platform easier to use. The security measures work reasonably well, and the large community gives you plenty of options.
But of course, they still have some things they should work on. For example, the lack of a Girlswithlove mobile app is inconvenient, and the paywall for many features frustrated me quite a lot during my experiment. The free experience is limited, which means I had to buy credits to actually be able to use everything.
So, is Girlswithlove worth trying? It depends on what you are looking for. If you want access to a large community and don't mind paying for premium features, you might enjoy your time here. The 2025 updates show that Girlswithlove is trying to improve, which is a good sign.
But if you prefer having a dedicated mobile app, want more features available for free, or need fast customer support, you might want to reconsider your options. Girlswithlove works well for what it does, but it's not perfect.
