Confronting Karen

My son is a very talented artist, he is the person behind the cover of my very first book!

How Spirituality Saved My Life is available now! What an amazing journey this has been! I am so proud of his work that I have decided to hire my son for all of my future book covers! My ultimate wish would be to have an animated series.. for now I direct aka vent and my 17 year old sketches.. who knows what the future holds!

I have been on a Spiritual Journey for over one year now and have revisited many issues not handled appropriately, for examples the idiots I broke free from last summer.. but it also brought me back.

This journey has absolutely brought me back.. all the way back to my very first hotel property.

The good old Hampton Inn & Suites Yonkers! My very first hotel.. first of many.. lots of wild stories on that place.. if the walls could talk, I wonder what would they say..

This past year, was actually my third time around that merry go round.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Yonkers opened in June, 2009 and I was part of the opening crew! Yes, we had to train and take a test so that joint could open!

Lots of hands on experience and a great starter hotel for anyone looking to work their way up in Hospitality.. definitely not a place to make it a career.. you learn and you get out.

The city of Yonkers & Westchester County need to do better in the careers department.

Some folks just cannot get over their titles, I cannot engage with that kind of ignorance.. the “ I can speak to you in any fashion because I am the manager.”

Bitch please, I am thankful to be an Author because I don’t have time for that.. I do have time for a story.

The incident involved females who looked like LOL Dolls approaching the Front Desk gearing up to confront Karen.

See I may not look like I’m from the ghetto, I may not sound like I’m from the ghetto but in my heart.. I’m most definitely 100% ghetto fabulous. I will confront anyone, anywhere... because of my angelic face people think they can try me.. by the age of 41... this is clockwork. By now it’s hilarious watching people think they can shut it down.

We get a noise complaint, so I call the guest room to ensure everything is ok. I advised them to turn it down to avoid any further disturbances.

We then get the smoke alarm going off, folks please be advised that most hotels have sensors in the room.. your best bet is to just smoke outside.. it’s legal now in New York but hotels are still smoke free properties.

Vaping equals smoking..

The alarm starts going off and I send security who confirmed the party and the smoking.

Per hotel policy, they must be evicted. Imagine little old me telling the LOL Dolls they had to leave the property??

They approached the desk to explain to me that they were not smoking in the room.

Granted, I did not witness LOL Dolls smoking but their eyes were telling a different story and security would not lie to me about such a thing.. security actually showed me a photo of their room!

MJ everywhere! How dare they confront Karen! They were escorted off property, never to be seen or heard of again!

Always be mindful of your behavior, you don’t want anyone catching you looking like an LOL Doll.. ladies let’s do better.

You must understand that this behavior and this look unless you’re an actual doll is not cute.

I on the other hand cannot believe I had to write a report on this incident! Oh the memories and my hotel diaries.
