Classy Lady

Classiness seems like a very rare character to come by, nowadays. Why is that? Maybe how we have raised our daughters to present themselves plays a great part concerning the road a young lady will travel. I get it, we all fall short, absolutely, but is that an excuse to continue to fall short? Or should we find ways to improve daily? Help me out ladies where did we place our class, and our morals? Where did it go and how can we get it back?

Sometimes it seems as if having high standards is extinct, it's like the new way to show that we are beautiful, attractive, refined, elegant and sophisticated is by demonstrating what we see on tv reality shows. Like why has reality tv become the standard? Like the reality is that it's entertainment right? Reality tv is not meant for you to actually demonstrate the acts in your own life lol, it's only meant to entertain period. If you are too weak to watch tv without acting out everything you see others do, guess what it's time to turn the television OFF!!! you can't handle it Sis. Now the agenda of what we see happening in the world, tv, and on social media may be for exactly that reason to blind people to the truth and to promote such behavior in women and people in general for that matter. However, Lately, women have taken on the role of female television celebrities. Most women want to be like Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Rhianna, etc. but where are the women who want to be more like the Kingdom women, such as, Queen Esther and Ruth in the bible, Shirley Caesar, Jekalyn Carr, and Sarah Jakes you know women who exemplify a clean lifestyle and holiness. It's not to say that women's appearances shouldn't represent the essence of who they are, or that you shouldn't be beautiful, of course, by all means, beautify honey lol be yourself, but be your best classy self, there should be boundaries and standards set. There is a certain way a woman should carry herself and selling herself short to be seen, or feel loved, or whatever the reason is, should not be the way #period. If you are a woman who really did not have that parental guidance to help show you how to carry yourself, find a mentor or another respectable woman who shows and demonstrates such characteristics.

So many women use the words, "I'm a Queen". Queen this and Queen that, like really? What makes you a Queen? Do you know how to represent a Queen? Do you know a Queen's purpose? Could it be you just like the title of being called Queen? Help me understand, Sis? What makes you a Queen? We have to go beyond the material to reach our potential in walking classy before calling ourselves, Queen. Most of us yell to the man in our lives statements such as, "Be a man", "show some respect" "but what about the kids", when we ourselves are not showing our kids how to live right either. We can't expect others to love us the way we deserve to be loved if we are not showing others how we demand to be loved by loving ourselves first. Ladies we need to start making being beautiful on the inside and outside a movement and stop showing our nakedness and promoting sex like it's not sacred between a husband and wife. We have to do better, especially after we have learned better. We have to be the change we want to see in our young ladies today. If they see better, chances are they would start doing better. We need to revisit some of the traditional ways of our mothers, mentors, and grandmother and apply them to our lives daily. Whoever you had in your life that showed you how to be a lady take their advice, please because it will bless you. Ladies, we have to get it together. How long will we allow ourselves to be disrespected, mistreated, and succumb to the foolish ways of operating like a silly woman? How long? We need to take a good look in the mirror because clearly, times have changed how we should do things. There's a deception that we are moving forward when actually we are moving backward. Let's pick back up where we left off in presenting classiness and wholesomeness. Oh, and for the record, ladies they don't drop it likes it hot or twerk neither lol ijs. Take care.
