A Bitter Bit
My Conscience won’t let me keep this a secret
I woke up at sleet. A slender fine skin colleen besides me, Lucy. “Oh!! you are stark naked” she bubbled in a lisp speech before taking a glimpse at herself. “Hey!! Where did sleep?” She inquired in a panicky tone. I couldn’t even spot a B from the Bull’s foot. Had it been a bitter bit, or a lusty night treat?
The apple of discord was the party that had been organized for Lucy’s birthday. I had been on tenterhooks all through Friday and as Saturday came by, I was anxious and I could no longer wait. Since at home I was considered a bad egg, telling mummy about me attending the party was not part of the recipe.
Meanwhile, the twelve hours of the day seemed longer than ever before. The excitement kept me rolling from spot to that I couldn’t even concentrate at work.
At twilight, I slammed the door of my bedroom behind my back and in no time, I was up to my closet. I fastened the buttons of my lavender long-sleeved shirt tight onto my pillow-like chest that every girl craved for. I pulled on my Louis Vuittons and topped the outfit with a maroon coat. I matched the outfit with elephant grey moccasins. I was clad, I was a total apollo. As often, I Scampered through the corridor and sneaked out through the back window without crushing into the plates as usual, and off I was to have some fun. I swirled through the evening breeze and in no time, I was at our planned venue. Putting the cart before the horse, I matched in like a John bull before being ushered to the seat that had been culled for me. We expected but for me, no buts from anyone, and indeed everyone had shown up in person.
At once, the whole hall went as silent as a graveyard that you could hear the ticking sound of the clock. Someone appeared in the doorway. She was dressed to nines in a pink floral dress and red suede heels with a white half-moon bag that matched the ribbon which held her black silky hair in a single fine position.
It was Lucy. The girl everyone on campus looked up to.
Her waterly white eyes outshone the sun and made the stars jealous. I stared at her for about a minute with mixed feelings of love admiration. As she took her seat next to mine, my heartbeat was like a tom-tom drum since usually met once in a blue moon.
“Come on puritans, the liquor you refuse to take on earth, you will have to make a double in heaven” Before Joshua finished that speech, everyone was up with a bottle since none of us wanted to have drums of liquor to empty in heaven. We dance and drank till I was blotto. Though I could remember my name at that point, I could still drag myself to the washroom to answer the call of nature. I lazily opened the door bumping into Lucy who could no longer hold herself up on her legs. I Incalculably grabbed her by the shoulders looking straight in her eyes which pronounced surrender. Took grip of her wasp-like waist. Pushed her back to the wall, and then a snog.
At dawn, I woke up with an open zip and loose pants.
