"When the Stars Listened"

In a quiet coastal town where the sea kissed the sand gently and the sunsets painted golden promises on the horizon, lived two souls who didn't know they were waiting for each other.

Aarav, a soft-spoken bookstore owner with a deep love for poetry, believed in love but hadn't found it yet. Every evening, he would sit by the window of his store, watching the sky turn pink and wondering if someone, somewhere, was also looking up and hoping.

One rainy afternoon, Meera walked in. She was a travel writer, curious and full of life, with a notebook always tucked under her arm. She only came in to escape the sudden downpour, but something about the warmth of the wooden shelves, the scent of old books, and the shy smile Aarav gave her made her pause.

“Do you have something about places that feel like people?” she asked.

Aarav blinked. “Try The Little Prince. Sometimes, a place becomes someone you miss.”

That day turned into a conversation. Then coffee. Then late walks along the beach, where she spoke of cities and he recited lines of love poems. The two found comfort in silence and magic in the ordinary.

One night under a sky bursting with stars, Meera whispered, “I've seen the world. But no view feels quite like sitting next to you.”

Aarav took her hand. “And I've waited all my life for a page like this.”

They didn't need grand gestures. Just shared books, shared dreams, and the feeling that they were no longer alone in the world. And when Meera finally unpacked her suitcase for good, the bookstore added a new section: Journeys and Love Stories. Their story was the first one on the shelf.
