A Mirror Into Alternate Futures
A window in an abandoned house showed reflections not of the present, but of the life one could have lived if fear had never interfered. People traveled far to confront their mirrored destinies. One man saw himself as an artist he had always suppressed. Tears blurred the image, and when the mirror cleared, his reflection was already holding a paintbrush. Potential, once recognized, refuses to stay imaginary.

The Statue That Slowly Became Human
A statue carved in eternal sorrow stood at the edge of a plaza. Those who passed felt compelled to speak their vulnerabilities to it, as if the stone could absorb their confessions. Over centuries, its features softened. One day, it exhaled dust and stepped down from its pedestal, now fully human. The first words it whispered were, “Thank you for giving me your truths. They taught me how to live.”

"What happened to me?" The question hung in the air, damp and hollow as it was. I felt the closeness of the walls, solid and deep. There was no echo. No hope that a simple voice could impede the silent dark. It surrounded me, gathered up and rolled over me with a blanket of complete forgetfulness. I was gone. Dead. To all who knew me, lost years ago. This is what happens to bones. This is what happens to those buried and left to lie beneath the earth until the end of time.

Hallelujah Hobby Living
Life is always meant to be lived hallelujah! Now that is a catchy phrase isn’t it? It is especially around the holidays where life is so busy and hobbies are sometimes put on the back burner because of all the other things we need to do in life during this time of year. Or are hobbies put on the back burner during this time of year? I guess this all depends on the people who are doing said hobbies and how they live their lives and what they do in their lives. As we all know hobbies are always a part of life they are what makes our lives what they are, in terms of giving our lives variety. The more we put our hobbies in our lives the more we live through them. It so much more fun this way, and there is so much more that comes from your hobbies this way too. When you put your hobbies into the way that you live your life, how do you feel? Do you feel rejuvenated or like Hallelujah things are changing and they are so much more fun? I would say that I feel a little bit of both, this is because I love putting my hobbies and life together and seeing where the two things take me all the time.
