The Town That Feared the Moon
They said it wasn’t light — it was memory shining back.

Every full moon, the people of Andel hid indoors. Windows shuttered, mirrors covered. Because when moonlight touched skin, it didn’t reflect — it remembered.
Those who stepped into it began to glow faintly, revealing every secret they’d ever kept. Adulterers, thieves, murderers — all lit up like stars of shame.
One child, too young to understand, wandered into the night. When dawn came, she stood smiling, unafraid — her light pure white.
By evening, the moon vanished entirely. Some say she forgave it.
