The Street That Appeared Only in Rain
You could only find it when the world blurred enough to forget you.

In the heart of the city, on nights of heavy rain, some drivers claim to see a narrow cobblestone street that isn’t on any map. It glows faintly under the lamplight, lined with old-fashioned storefronts that close the moment you blink.
A journalist once followed it, filming everything. She parked, walked in — and found herself surrounded by mannequins holding umbrellas, staring toward the sky.
When she looked back, the street behind her was gone. The rain had stopped. Her camera feed showed her walking into traffic, but her body was never found.
Now, taxi drivers avoid that district during storms. Because when the rain starts, GPS devices sometimes whisper:
“Turn left on Waverly Row.”
And if you do — the road never ends.
