The Shadow Collector
He bought what people didn’t need — until they vanished without theirs.

In 1893, a man named Ezra Leich claimed to be a collector of shadows. For a price, he’d take yours — “a burden most souls don’t deserve to carry,” he said. His clients, mostly the grieving or guilty, swore they felt lighter afterward.
But weeks later, they began to fade — photos showed silhouettes without bodies. By winter, Ezra’s mansion was found abandoned, its walls lined with moving shapes — dark, restless, and whispering.
Some say the Collector still walks at dusk, offering to take what you no longer want. But once you lose your shadow, you can never return to the light.
