The Radio That Answers Back
At 3:33 a.m., don’t respond — even if it says your name.

When an old ham radio enthusiast, Walter Griggs, died in his cabin, neighbors claimed to still hear his call sign at night. His radio had never been unplugged.
A curious student bought the equipment at an estate sale. The first time she turned it on, a man’s voice whispered her full name — and then hers again, distorted, like an echo.
She tried to record it, but the audio vanished. Then her messages began to play — ones she’d never sent. “Hello?” “Who’s there?” “Stop copying me.”
After three nights, she heard the voice say, “You’re next.”
She smashed the radio. But every year on the anniversary of Griggs’ death, her phone connects to a Bluetooth device named WALTER_RX-333.
