The Heart's Illusion

There comes a time in everyone's life when reality delivers a harsh lesson, shattering the rose-colored glasses through which we view the world…. For me, this moment of realization came when I understood that innocent people, those who believe in the inherent goodness of everyone, often find themselves heartbroken and betrayed. Their pure hearts and trusting nature leave them vulnerable to the harshness of reality.

I have always admired innocence - the kind that sees the world with untainted eyes, believing that every person harbors kindness and goodwill. But as I navigated through my own experiences, I saw the cracks in this beautiful illusion. It became painfully clear that not everyone has a good heart, and this realization can be both devastating and enlightening.

Innocent people are often deemed 'stupid' by the cynical and worldly-wise. They are ridiculed for their unwavering trust and their ability to forgive easily. However, I believe there is profound strength in innocence. It takes immense courage to maintain a kind heart in a world that often rewards selfishness and deceit.
