The Farmer and His Sons
A Lesson in Unity and Strength

An old farmer had three quarrelsome sons who never agreed on anything. Worried about their future, he decided to teach them a lesson. He gave them a bundle of sticks tied together and asked each son to break it. They tried, but none could. Then, he untied the bundle and gave them one stick each. They easily broke them. The farmer said, “If you stay united like the bundle, no one can harm you. But if you quarrel and separate, you will be weak.” The sons understood and promised to live in harmony.
Then, the farmer gathered many sticks, bound them tightly together, and challenged his sons to break the bundle. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't break the bundle of sticks.
The father then explained, "When you are alone, you are weak, like a single stick. But when you stand together as one, like the bundle of sticks, you are strong and unbreakable." The sons understood their father's lesson and vowed to work together, realizing the strength they gained from unity
