The Dream That Found Her: A Love Story Written by the Universe
They say dreams are merely illusions—echoes of our thoughts woven together in the stillness of night. But what if a single dream could serve as a compass for your soul? What if it was not just a figment of imagination, but a genuine message?

The Dream That Stayed
When I was seventeen, sleep-deprived from the stress of school and consumed by late-night thoughts, I had a dream that I could never forget.
In the dream, there was a cherry blossom tree, its petals swirling around like a spring snowstorm. Beneath the tree stood a girl I had never seen before. She had kind eyes, a calm smile, and a quiet presence that didn’t demand attention—it simply felt perfectly at home.
She didn’t say much; just one sentence, “You’ll find me when you stop looking.”
I woke up with tears in my eyes and a heart that felt inexplicably full.
Life Moved On, But the Dream Didn’t Leave
Years went by. I graduated, faced failures, and experienced success. I fell in and out of love. I missed birthdays but always remembered that dream.
Sometimes, I would write letters to that girl, expressing things I couldn’t share with anyone else. I never sent them; instead, I folded them and placed them in a box labelled “Someday.”
I didn’t believe in soulmates, but I did believe in that feeling.
The Rainy Day That Changed Everything
It had been five years since that day. It was a typical afternoon—gray skies, moody clouds, and a broken umbrella. I ducked into a coffee shop just to dry off.
She was sitting by the window.
She didn’t look exactly like the girl from my dream, but I felt it—the same quiet presence, the same warmth. It was like meeting someone I had somehow already missed.
We started talking. About nothing. About everything. The rain turned into thunder, and neither of us noticed.
When Dreams Meet Reality
Months passed by. One day, I shared my dream with her. She smiled and replied, “That’s funny. I used to dream of someone writing me letters.” We were strangers, yet we felt a deeper connection.
The Universe Has Strange Timing
We often think of destiny as a straight line. However, sometimes it curves, loops, and takes detours through heartbreak and healing. That dream? It wasn’t fiction; it was a promise the universe made to me while I was sleeping.
A Letter to the Dreamer
If you’ve ever had a dream that felt too real to ignore, hold on to it. Perhaps it’s a glimpse of your future, or maybe it’s your soul guiding you back to where you belong.
When it happens—and it will—you’ll recognise it.
You’ll feel it, just as I did.
