The prince gazes at the silent walls of the palace, on which hang the paintings of his ancestors. His eyes well up with tears, his heart heavy with compassion, for only once in a century does he get the chance to live with a human heart for just one day, one day - when he can feel the burden of his existence again. The stench of the corpses of his ancestors rotting in the palace for centuries was suffocating him. The palace was a silent witness to every painful and terrifying scream that echoed centuries ago and still echoes today.

Zelen the Moonwizard transfers his soul into a new body every century to keep himself immortal, and he performs this ritual the night before the new moon when his soul is temporarily freed from his body; at that moment, the prince gets a rare chance to return to human form. But time was fleeting. At sunset, his humanity would fade away, and he would become a man-eating wolf again. When the sorcerer puts his soul into a new body, it becomes even more powerful and immortal. And the prince will again wander as a cannibal wolf for a century.

Whenever the prince entered the palace, he would hear a voice amid the painful screams of his ancestors.

Follow the heartbeat of the devil,

And existence shall vanish.

The prince never understood this, and he remained cursed forever. Today too, the wizard went to the sacred hill in the east to perform a ritual to maintain his immortality. The wizard sacrificed a newborn baby, and his soul was now about to enter a new body. As the wizard began the ritual, the prince's soul began to shrink again. This time, the prince ran quickly to the sacred hill and threw the new body into the fire of the torches burning nearby, which the wizard's soul was about to enter. Zelen the Moonwizard was now stuck between existence and death. The prince screamed loudly, holding the torch in one of his hands, his scream echoing across the mountains.

Suddenly, he felt as if his soul was being released from his body; the wizard was now entering the prince's body, and as he needed a body, the prince realized that the wizard was now taking over his body.

Breaking the cold silence of a few moments, the prince let out a loud roar and set his body on fire, his painful screams echoing all around. As the prince's body was burning, the palace began to collapse; cracks appeared in the blood-soaked walls, the torches that had been burning for centuries were extinguished, and the screams of the souls imprisoned there began to echo in the walls of the palace. In no time, the palace turned into rubble, nothing was left there now.

As the prince's body burned to ashes, the palace also turned into a pile of mud. The bodies that had been rotting in the basement of the palace for centuries vanished, and the souls of his ancestors were freed from that imprisonment.

Suddenly, the sound of a baby crying began to echo in the sacred hills.
