The Cartographer of Clouds
He drew the skies until the heavens began to change for him.

Theo mapped the world from rooftops — not lands or oceans, but clouds. Every day, he sketched their shapes, naming them like constellations. “These are the countries of the sky,” he’d say.
People laughed, but he persisted. Then, one morning, the clouds began to resemble the shapes he’d drawn — castles, islands, wings. The weather itself obeyed his ink.
When the storm of the century came, Theo climbed his tower, drawing furiously to redirect it. But the wind tore his pages apart. The next day, the skies were clear — and no one ever saw him again.
The climax: On bright days, travelers sometimes see faint outlines of a man drawn in the clouds, sketchbook open, smiling down.
