Intertwine
AMSTERDAM, 1991.
It was Victor and Caroline's third honeymoon. Very wealthy, they were always traveling the world, mainly to scout locations for their hotel chain—the Laggerdoff Hotels, Victor's surname passed to Caroline when they married in their hometown, New York. They met at a fundraising gala for the UN; Victor hosted it, and Caroline represented it. Since then, they were inseparable. After many failed attempts, she got pregnant. But they hadn't expected the baby to come so soon, at just six and a half months.
