Simon worked in the city archives, cataloguing old diaries and letters. One day, he found a journal written by someone with his exact name and handwriting — dated 1872.
The entries described events from Simon’s life that hadn’t happened yet. As he read on, he realized the journal was predicting his future, right down to the date and time of his death.
The climax: When the day arrived, Simon closed the final page, picked up his pen, and began writing a new entry — the ink glowing faintly as history looped once again.
