Snow White: The Mirror’s Keeper

She survived the poison. The mirror didn’t.

By GoldenSpeechPublished 3 months ago 1 min read

The prince kissed her. The curse broke. Snow White awoke.

But the mirror in the Queen’s chamber cracked down the center — and something crawled out.

For years, Snow ruled with grace. The people loved her. Yet each time she looked into a mirror, she saw a flicker — a reflection smiling just a heartbeat too late.

One night, the reflection spoke.

“Do you miss her?”

“Who?”

“The woman who made you beautiful — by dying.”

The glass rippled. The reflection stepped through. It wore the Queen’s eyes, but Snow’s face.

“You wanted her gone,” it said. “Now I’m what’s left — the hunger behind the fairness.”

Snow tried to shatter the mirror, but the shards bled light.

By morning, only one queen remained.

No one knows which.
