Relocated (Chapter 1)
Four hens and a rooster

Mitch rode his bike with no hands down the sidewalk. The day was young and the sunshine felt just right on his shoulders. He wore a blue tank top with gray gym shorts. On his right side there were lapping ocean waves on large rocks. On his left side there was speeding traffic. The salty mist from the ocean tasted nostalgic. The exhaust from the motor vehicles on the other side of the road was a bit annoying. He kept riding down the sidewalk, charging at the blasting breeze. He looked to his left and saw a convertible with four girls in bathing suit tops. They were singing to some Beach Boy music. They waved at him flirtatiously. His bike hit a small pothole and he nearly swerved into a ditch on the side of the road. Just in time, before an accident occurred, he jumped off his bike. He wiped his face as beads of sweat sprang forth from his forehead. He looked over to the right and saw a very nice peaceful beach. The beach waves waved at him in a way, also flirtatiously like the girls who’d passed by seconds earlier. He tied his bike to a tree with a small lock and chain. Pulling his shirt off, he ran full force at the waves, attacking the water. Smiling, he felt happy as there was no one else around at the moment. Sometimes when he’d gone to beaches, there were too many people around and it was hard to feel as in tune with the nature. The water was cool and exhilarating, what a great day it was!
He looked further ahead and spotted the four girls that had driven by earlier. They were on a pier about to jump off the end of it. The first three jumped off. The fourth one started jumping off the pier but then her bathing suit top came untied. Her fair breasts glinted in the sunlight. She slapped the ocean water and shrieked in pain. The other three girls laughed at her and then helped her tie her bathing suit top back on. They just kept giggling and then one looked over at Mitch who was further down away from the pier, “Hey, did you see that?”
He didn’t know how to respond so he just shrugged quickly. The girls laughed even more. “Yeah, I bet he did,” said one of the girls who was paddling in the water like a wet poodle.
He blushed and felt awkward. He dipped under the water and wished the beach was empty again and quieter. The girls were having a great time, roaring with laughter. He liked being left alone to his own thoughts. One of the girls called out to him, “Hey, why don’t you come over here? We don’t bite too hard.”
“She means we don’t bite at all,” corrected one of the other girls bobbing up and down in the water like a rubber duck.
He didn’t want to go over there and wished that he could suddenly just disappear into thin air, but he didn’t want to seem rude, so he started swimming over to the girls. He didn’t ever feel socially comfortable. When he got there he had no idea what he was going to say. The four girls kept swimming and goofing around with all sorts of, what seemed like, inside jokes that they had amongst themselves. He finally made it closer to where they were and said hello and introduced himself. They introduced themselves and then they all climbed up to the pier again to jump off. Before the first one could jump, several large drones appeared suddenly and clutched the arms of each of the four girls and Mitch. In a fraction of a minute, they were whisked away to the jungle woods. They were gently placed deep in the jungle by the drones. One of the drones shot out a tightly wrapped message. The drones then disappeared. The four girls were in shock and still dripping from being in the water. Mitch grabbed the message quickly and started unrolling it to read what it said.
