Puzzoul

I paced the winded sidewalk, with tears streaming endlessly down my face. It's too dark to concern myself with the possibility of someone seeing me cry. I find comfort in the dark night sky, as it cradles my chaotic pleads. My eyes beam at the moon, craving a presence I have yet to meet. Or have I already had the privilege of our paths crossing, but we couldn't comprehend the complexity of the connection at the time. Has my judgment become clouded with the overwhelming desire to be loved and love. Finding the words to express this longing, has been an everlasting journey, but yet I find myself embarking on it. They always speak of heartbreak in relationships but my heart feels shattered in this abyss of the unknowing. Will I meet them in the most romantic of circumstances or will it be subtle and discrete. Will my heart compass me to you as you pull on my heart strings, or will my mind naturally gravitate. Will it be both, a harmonious lure in your direction. Or will it be unorthodox, possibly strange to say the least. These may only ever be fantasies or delusions, but I will settle for that reality before accepting a world without you.
