Puddle Jumping

And Making Connections

I am sure we all had our different experiences of doing puddle jumping as kids, whether it be at a school playground as a game or by jumping a real puddle on a village road by stepping onto stones, dry land or whatever dry stuff that's available to avoid wetting our feet.

It was one of those simple life skills learnt back then which we still practise today by default as adults. Whenever we walk towards a puddle, our eyes quickly scan the road for dry spots and we jump onto them to help us reach the other side.

I believe that in life we do encounter "puddles" where instead of staring at them and worrying ourselves, we can quickly recheck our lives, review our decisions, re-strategise our next moves by identifying the dots and make connections by reaching out to people to build our network, surrender our lives to Jesus, learn a new skill, or read to gain new knowledge, etc.

Connecting the dots can be the same as puddle jumping. With the right connections, our lives can move forward positively.
