Lately in India, there's a dangerous trend growing on LinkedIn. You'll come across those emotional posts — someone sharing their "journey" of cracking offers at big MAANG companies. The first half of the post? Truly relatable. They'll talk about struggling with DSA (Data Structures & Algorithms), endless failed interviews, and self-doubt. It feels personal. It feels real. You might even think, "This is exactly what I'm going through!"
But then comes the twist.
Towards the end, they'll casually drop a link — saying, "This magical course helped me crack it!" You click, hoping to find your breakthrough. Instead, you land on a course page demanding lakhs of rupees.
Driven by hope and desperation, many take loans, stretch their savings, and enroll — believing it’ll change their lives. But soon the truth hits like a truck — the course is basic, generic, often the same stuff freely available online if you just searched for a few hours. The pain sets in. The regret is real.
And here's the brutal truth no one tells you: The person promoting the course probably never even took it. It’s just a paid collaboration — they get money for every click, every signup. Your dreams, your struggles — reduced to a transaction for them.
Why? Why play with the hopes of freshers and desperate job-seekers?
Don't fall for it. Always research before paying a single rupee. Once your money is gone, there’s no coming back.
