Hello everyone! I'm so excited and honored to tell another story of little Krishna.
The Lord’s uncommon features, uncommon activities and uncommon beauty can be perceived even by an ordinary man. This story tells us- when Lord Krishna appeared just like a six- or seven-year-old boy in Vrindavana, He was approached by the residents there. There were torrents of rain, and the Lord saved the residents of Vrindavan by lifting Govardhan Hill and resting it on the little finger of His left hand for seven days.
Lord Krishna is very pure ever and perfect in all situations, as a child, as a friend, as a true lover, as a teacher and as a guide. Among all the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, only Lord Krishna was 16 kalaa sampoorna god.
For those who don't know the story-
Once upon a time in a beautiful village called Gokul, there lived a young boy named Krishna. Krishna was a special boy with amazing powers. One day, the villagers were preparing for a big festival to honor Lord Indra, the god of rain. They believed that by making offerings to Indra, he would bless them with rain for their crops.
Krishna, being wise beyond his years, thought differently. He knew that the real heroes were the cows and the hills that provided them with grass. He asked the villagers, "Why not worship Govardhan Hill and the cows instead? They help us so much."
The villagers were surprised by Krishna's suggestion but trusted him. They decided to follow his advice. They decorated Govardhan Hill with flowers, fruits, and all sorts of delicious food. Krishna stood by the hill and told everyone to offer their prayers to it.
This made Lord Indra very angry. He thought he was being ignored, and in his anger, he sent dark clouds and heavy rain to flood the village. The rain poured down heavily, causing the river to rise and the villagers to panic.
Seeing this, Krishna calmly smiled. He stepped forward and with his little finger, he lifted Govardhan Hill as if it were a giant umbrella. All the villagers, along with their animals, found shelter under the hill. Krishna held the hill up for seven days and seven nights without getting tired.
Indra soon realized his mistake. He understood that Krishna's idea was right – it's important to respect and take care of nature. He stopped the rain and apologized to Krishna.
Finally, when the rain stopped, Krishna gently placed Govardhan Hill back in its place. The villagers thanked him for his wisdom and bravery. They understood that Krishna was not just an ordinary boy but a divine being with incredible powers.
The story of Krishna lifting Govardhan Hill teaches us many things. It shows that nature should be respected and cared for. It teaches us that wisdom and kindness are more important than showing off. And it reminds us that a small act of goodness can have a huge impact, just like Krishna's little finger lifting the mighty hill to protect the village.
Lets end this story with-
