Kia Ford: The Hammer Girl's English Premiere Production

Chapter Thirteen-Alex And Cody's Road Show

By Marc OBrienPublished 2 months ago 3 min read

Still experiencing traumatic effects, due to a shocking episode, only few days ago Alex and Cody, two musical front men approached the Premier Estates residencies gateway, knocking three times, hoping those goals would draw things even. When the Peacock, dressed in formal penguin tuxedo answered, the pair felt welcome, “yes, may I ask who is calling?”

Standing there, battered and bruised Alex and Cody, the boys in the band, nicknamed AC, since they know how to cool things down, searched, wanting answers. “We were looking somewhere to play,” they explained in unison, “our duet, we were composing as members of the boys in the band, sounded great, but”

“Something tragic happened?” Guessed the Peacock.

“Philip Sport showed up with his ‘V formation four goal act’,” Alex reported.

“We made one mistake, before handing over the microphone and leveling the situation, only to watch Phil show a triple three tenor tease,” Cody continued.

“A triple three tenor tease?” The Peacock’s eyes widened.

“Yeah, three for the price of one,”

“Did I hear the last name ‘Sport’,” Kia Ford exclaimed from the background.

“Yes, Ma’am, Philip Sport,” Alex answered,

“I wonder if he is related to Boyle,” Kia Ford pondered.

“Read somewhere they are cousins,” Cody confirmed.

“Was it a good book?” Joked the Peacock, letting the youthful enthusiastic talent enter.

“Kia, Kia Ford, we just desired a nice place to play following the group’s horrendous performance, a few days ago.”

“Well, Alex, Cody,” Kia Ford informed, “I have a red and white temporary built private stage, along with cherry pie, cherry juice and cherry buckets.”

“She must have had a good day picking cherries, last weekend,” Cody noted.

Quickly navigating through the hallway, featuring a quiet bubble machine and Bowen Shrine, the singers reached the courtyard.

“It seems like someone just died,” Alex mentioned.

“Not for long,” Kia Ford predicted.

“Oh, this is cool,” Cody commented.

Within a magical moment, the peaceful backyard turned into a packed crowd whose thunderous approval encouraged Alex and Cody, ‘do your best’.

When the first set ran its course, Alex scrambled behind the scenes and found an opening. Seeing Kia Ford, the adult teen spotted the hammer girl, combatting mass chatter, “I want you to get me a sack,”:

“What?” Kia Ford responded

“I want you to get me a sack,”

Hearing key words Kia Ford started feeling enraged, “you want me to get into the sack with you?”

Lip reading the message Alex suddenly turned colorless, “No, no I want a sack of cherries, they are good.”

Relieved, Kia Ford laughed, hailing a bag filled with cherries. “Did you get your goal today?” Kia Ford questioned, “I sack of cherries.”

Smiling Alex thanked the host, returning, embracing the fantasy, “an ‘I sack’ of cherries,” Kia Ford chuckled, “such the goal?”

With the theatrical presentation hypnotic, illumination sparkling, Cody remembered a story, “back when we were competing, Philip Sport a farmer approached me flashing lightbulbs and something went off in my head and I wrote my new song, The Victory Formation.”

Cheers rendered throughout the small venue, bringing happiness to everyone attending the afternoon delight matinee. Following a beautiful encore Alex took a bow and Cody imitated the gesture.

“Where are you going Cody?” Kia Ford investigated.

“Found a goal and have extra time,” A beautiful girl around Cody’s arm expressed.

“Do you want some cherries to take home?” Kia Ford offered.
