Kia Ford: The Hammer Girl's English Premiere Production

Chapter Eighteen: Investment Goals

By Marc OBrienPublished 21 days ago 3 min read

Finishing the final teacup remains, Kia Ford perked up hearing the doorbell ring, “oh yeah, that is right Craven was stopping by to show me sound business investments,” she thought to herself, “viable relegation solutions.”

“May I ask who is calling?” Inquired the Peacock, revealing the guest.

“Boyle Sports,” answered the visitor, “I am here bringing nice tidings.”

“Oh, Boyle, it is good to see you,” Kia Ford interjected, appearing from the kitchen.

“My dear Kia Ford, season’s greetings,” Boyle outstretched his hand, “here is a small gratitude gift.”

Inspecting the envelope, Kia Ford commented, “What is it? A get out of relegation free card?”

“Not exactly,” Boyle Sports confessed, watching Kia Ford unveil the holiday message.

“It is an instant lottery ticket,” Kia Ford exclaimed.

“Could be very profitable? You know,” Boyle Sports boasted.

While the small chit chat progressed, the Peacock cleaned all the fine China before stepping back out into the spotlighted scene, carrying a serving tray. “Can I interest anyone in a spot of tea?”

“Would love some,” Boyle Sports took a seat.

“Yes, thank you, Peacock,” Kia Ford added grabbing a coin, table loitering,

“Gunna, try your luck? Kia Ford,”

“We will see,” the United West Ham started scratching, “nothing but discarded foil coating,” described the star spangled with a banner character, studying her gaming results.

Taking a complementary sip, Boyle Sports asked, “did you make another bad investment?”

“Actually, you gave this ticket to me as a holiday gift,” Kia Ford pointed out, “and there was nothing there.”

“That is exactly, the lesson,” Boyle Sports mentioned, “you need goals, you can’t just sit idle with nothing, then your life will be a mess, just like that card.”

Processing the theory intently, Kia Ford took everything in stride, “when I put out the recruitment drive, after hearing Porsche Men left, I never dreamed an English Premiere Estates resident would be facing relegation, you need goals.”

Grabbing his hat and coat Boyle Sports acknowledged the Peacock who escorted the landlord towards the exit. Upon returning the colorful promotional fowl consoled Kia Ford, “he is right, you need goals.”

“I need a good investment,”

“You need goals,” the Peacock repeated, alerted when the entry way announced the incoming stranger, “you have the scheduled appointment with Craven.”

A fashionable satchel briefcase over the shoulders, accompanied Craven marching down the hallway, triggering bubbles hinting; these are entertaining living quarters.

“Kia Ford,” Craven greeted, “I have Craven cottages perfect for your needs.”

“I am thrilled,” Kia Ford answered, knowing she had no working goals.

Making the kitchen table home base, Craven imitating Astin’s sales pitch, occupied every empty space, filling it with getaway staycation offerings. Throughout the meeting’s first forty-five minutes, they went up and down the competitive area, not scoring any goals.

Long after the break time, an exhausted Craven finally divulged, one past transaction, “you know Raul? He came over confirming his wolf council meeting reservation and following that accomplished goal, he invested.”

“What does Raul’s interest in your properties have to do with me?”

“First,” Craven started listing, “I achieved a goal when Raul scored a cottage, which allows me three points.”

“But I do not have any goals, today,” Kia Ford honestly pleaded.

“And secondly, soon you will be seeing the wolves, minus, Raul since he is staying in my domain,” Cravin inserted, “maybe in a few months when you are relegation free, stop by look at the cottages like Raul.”

Realizing the appointments completed, a quiet, tranquil environment setting emerged, and the isolation haunted Kia Ford pounding the factual truth; goals are a priority.
