Chapter Eleven- A Major Toffee Lunch

Despite having buffer relegation, Kia Ford still felt flaming demotion heat, blaze through her future profitable plans. A single chilling reality to the haunting sensation was, if she accepted the impossible paramount mountain climb mission and reached its peak, red carpet English Premiere spotlight will shine, giving the American mover and shaker conversation material, when attending tea social events.

“I am playing in the elite division at this moment,” the independent gaming spirit put her foot down, startling the Peacock straightening the support staffer, reminding the colorful creature about the boss’s first-class status.

“What are you doing?” Kia Ford asked the promotional fowl.

“Trying to get this bloody bubble machine to work,” the Peacock replied, “it comes on once in a while.”

Suddenly, the doorbell rang, and a figure head stood there, “I am Major Toffee Everton,” the talk dark handsome uniformed character announced.

“There we go, its working,” the Peacock informed.

“Do you have a goal Major Toffee Everton?”

“Not right now, just a major,” the suave individual presenting a knight persona stated, working honest vocal chords, “but I would like you to have these Poppys to remember me”

“Why would I remember you?” Kia Ford fairly inquired.

“My enchanting eyes,” Major Toffee Everton stared into Kia Ford’s soul creating a swooning seductive moment shaking the naïve colonist’s foundation.

“Whew,” she exclaimed quickly catching herself after combatting the unbalancing act, “these are very nice Major,” Kia Ford continued the dialogue, placing the flowers into a vase filled with water.

Turning around she noticed Major Toffee Everton, occupying the living room spot reserved for his resting in peace action.

“Are you comfortable? Major.”

“Well, I would of went to the dying room,” Major Toffee Everton replied smirking.

“Those Poppy’s sure were potent,” Kia Ford stepped down, two steps grabbing the first chair.

“Darn, I cannot generate any electricity to get goals,” the Peacock shouted, puttering around the bubble machine.

“What happened?” Major Toffee Everton inquired.

“Bubble machine is on the fritz,” Kia Ford answered, “no goals.”

“No goals, that is not a problem,” Major Toffee Everton paused, “if you look good.”

Nearly an hour and a half including stoppage time elapsed and Kia Ford seemed to be in a romantic trance, fixated on the invading guest. As their competitive romantic match winded down Kia Ford stood up, “I need fresh air,” she pleaded.

“I think I got it,” the Peacock proclaimed before watching Kia Ford hit a wooden post.

“Well excuse me,” she apologized inspecting structure damage, “what are you doing?”

“Trying,” the Peacock unleashed a frustrating breath, “nope still no goals.”

“Do you think I should invite Major Toffee Everton to Summer Ville?” Kia Ford searched for advice.

“No goals there,” the Peacock reported, “I do not think there are any goals today.”

Realizing that truth Kia Ford returned, and Major Toffee Everton already had his coat. Tipping his hat respectfully issuing, ‘a fine farewell’.

“Well, Major Toffee Everton, it was very nice to enjoy your company this afternoon,” and before the sentence finished the gentlemen caller disappeared into the early evening.

Shutting the door, Kia Ford saw the Peacock hard at work, “we really need goals, then this bubble machine will act accordingly,”

“Yeah, I know,” Kia Ford agreed, “do you think I should spend the international break with Major Toffee Everton?”

“What do you want?” The Peacock exclaimed, “to turn blue, you need preparation for the new castle engagement, they are United, you know.”

“But I want sweet Toffee,” Kia Ford insisted.

“They have Mag Pies,” the Peacock teased making Kia Ford quickly change her taste buds.
