By Marc OBrienPublished 12 months ago 3 min read

Despite the dark grey setting outside, Kia Ford emerged from the sleeping quarters noticing the Shrine, sitting there doing nothing, except examining all the action.

“Shouldn’t the Shrine, get off the bench, get a goal and then we would, all feel better,” Kia Ford subtle expression demanded.

“The Shrine, Kia Ford,” the Peacock appeared, “is still under construction.”

“When will I be goal dependable with the Shrine?”

“Not for a while,” the Peacock honestly admitted, testing the GP batteries delivered by Amazon.

“How is that new electricity grid working?”

“I do not know,”

“Anything on the schedule today?” Kia Ford sluggishly inquired towards the character acting like an assistant, “I really do not want any goals, I want to vegetate, like a salad needing a dressing pick me up.”

Pondering, a moment the Peacock quickly responded, “no,” then within a second, “wait Crystal Palace representatives were supposed to pay a visit,”

“When?”

“Any minute,” the Peacock mumbled.

“Geez, I got to get ready,” Kia Ford panicked, hiding, back inside the fashionable closet.

Concentrating on the task at hand, the Peacock soon encountered a distraction, peering above, staring into the sunroof, observing the florescent yellow glowing illumination, engulfing the room.

“Wow, now I can really see what I am doing,” the enlighten Peacock stated, watching Kia Ford wearing her traditional uniform, make final adjustments, when the doorbell rang.

“Seriously, I do not know why I am worried about goals right now,” Kia Ford instituted her defense mechanism, realizing she dodged the late appointment bullet, “I can turn things around really like that,” she snapped her fingers, “regulation demotion is a good distance, and the top ten is a stone’s throw.”

Not hearing a word, the Peacock continued plugging away, rewiring the GP battery, “maybe you should get that, someone important may want to meet you.”

Sauntering towards the entry, Kia Ford opened the wooden gate revealing, “your Royal majesties,”

“Actually, we are representatives,” the lady stated, “I am Mrs. Glazier.”

“And I am Mr. Glazier,” the gentlemen added.

“Come right in,” Kia Ford invited.

Following the escort, the Glaziers entered the living room, and the quartet kicked things around, until the forty-five plus minutes were complete. Following a mutual break, Mrs. Glazier rejoined the gathering, holding a beautiful handwoven welcome mat.

“Creating this was a goal of mine,” Mrs. Glazier told her about the gift, “would you like it?”

“Ah,” Kia Ford acted surprised.

“It will cost you,” Mrs. Glazier grinned.

“How much?” Kia Ford asked.

“Three points,”

Taking the answer, improperly Kia Ford dropped her guard, left the security box, and a foul situation naturally evolved.

“Another goal for us,” the two Glaziers expressed in unison.

Seeing the Crystal Palace representatives possessing pairing goals, Kia Ford backed off letting them leave, saying nothing concerning a clean sheet.

Departing the flat, a blazing yellow spectacle shined featuring a center stage bald eagle commanding attention.

“We are coming,” Mrs. Glazier announced, “the west ham united, once again bought the gift horse in the mouth routine.”

Proudly, the bald eagle affirmatively acknowledged the remark following Kia Ford closing everything, slowly passing the bubble machine.

“Are you ever going to get that thing to work?” Not any feedback, she knew right then goals were needed.

Before disappearing, the Peacock interjected, “why do you go stay at Astin Villa’s next week?”

“That sounds like a good plan, Peacock and when I return maybe the bubble machine will be getting goals?” Kia Ford positively suggested, “and”

“First things first,” the Peacock stayed grounded, “once the goals come then better table placement will be awarded.”
