Jinn(supernatural being) Ki Shaadi Unki shaadi
Pakistani Drama Review

After watching the first two episodes of "Jinn Ki Shaadi Unku Shaadi", I can safely say that I am hooked. The opening scene brought a big smile to my face as it showed Wahaj Ali as Ali Chaudhary vibing to a song that we all love ( the title track of his old play). You love him from the start as he portrays a character that is young, energetic and silly who is more concerned about his instagram following than anything else. His encounter with Nadia (Romaisa Khan) was delightful and hilarious.
However, these two are not the entire focus of the show. We meet Ali's brother (Asad) and sister in law (Zara) who are dealing with their father's mysterious death and also the fact that in order to collect their inheritance they will have to live in an old haveli for six months and also get Ali married during this time.
What they don't know is that a family already resides in that old haveli.......THE JINN FAMILY. Members of jinn family are introduced, Syed Jibran as Azar and Tamkenat are equally amazing in their characters.
By the time we reach episode 2, the horror-comedy genre starts to kick in. We meet an additional character Khushi (Seher Khan) who belongs to the jinn family but has fallen in love with Ali who belongs to the human family. It will be interesting to see how she balances the rivalry between these two families.
Ovcrall, the first two episodes have surpassed my expectations. The show is humorous and has enough twists and turns to keep me interested. If everything goes well, jinn ki shaadi unki shaadi can become one of the finest dramas.
