Earlier, Leonardo visited Broad Street searching for the super deluxe glowing beacon replacement part at Prowny Hardware and Candle Accessories. Returning the handyman noticed, romantically engulfed Nida enjoying final natural theatrical flashing blaze moments, using strong bifocal equipment. Letting the postcard setting proclaim how great independent life really was when everyone contributes something each day making the harbor community a success, even if the thought was only in their dreams.

"It's getting dark, Leonardo, ships are not going to see without our traffic guidance."

"Miss Nida, I spent the afternoon on Broad Street and purchased a new bulb for the lamp brighter."

"Okay, Gatsby, did you pick up anything else trolling Broad Street window shopping, exploring inexpensive deals?"

Positively responded, Leonardo honestly replied, "a few CD's at the Jack Sins Music Store."

"Go get the ladder," Nida commanded not realizing the importance behind the musical selections, "and we can go upstairs and have successful shining presentations."

Finding a wooden stepstool in the basement Leonardo signaled Nida, head upward. I will meet you on the roof. Once they both arrived Nida made sure the portable steps were strong and steady as Leonardo fixed the dimming problem.

Watching Leonardo, Nida monitored him, screw the electrical device secure, within a second confronting emerging dark skies, defeating the pitch-black landscape. "Well, that is a change for the better," Nida declared as Leonardo finished the last daily agenda task.

"Looks good, Miss Nida."

Escaping the night air the professional couple invaded the kitchen where Kean cooked a masterful dinner.

"Got some disappointing news today," Kean opened the discussion, allowing Leonardo and Nida time to take a seat.

"Paper Mill Productions no longer is printing their periodical, they shut down," Kean expressed.

"No more local news outlet?" Nida's stomach dropped and a lonely internal sensation chewed away, making her feel like life was disappearing.

"Stop by their location," Keane continued, "offices were not hosting any legendary campfire chats.".

"Could be energy saving," Nida suggested, "bills you know."

"Don't they know Prowny Hardware and Candle Accessories every hour announces specials with DeDe Conn singing, You Light Up My Life'" Leonardo informed, "discounted items are slashed!"

"Excuse me," Nida took a napkin to her lips, "it was good, Kean," she was very thankful.

Needing fresh breath, Nida ventured outdoors grabbing binoculars before departing. Retrieving the miniature staircase, she took her evening relaxing post, appreciating being able to see enchanting party cruises, due to the work Leonardo accomplished puttering around town."

"We all do our part," she mumbled performing her nightly chore, watching the Keens Berg ice formation and what the deadly landmark was doing out there.

"They said financial issues were the reason for the closure," Leonardo, holding a coffee cup, mentioned.

With both hands gripping the invention, assisting in long distance viewing Nida commentated, "a newspaper is here to warn the community of any problem spots."

"But don't they need money to do that?" Down to earth Leonardo, addressed.

"True, but?" Nida concentrated, not deterred by Leonardo or ‘Gatsby' as she nicknamed him, "we need those rags."

"For what? Reality, they do not have money,"

"The bird cages, they like the headlines," Nida explained frustrated.

Deciding staring into the unknown, ran its course, Nida turned her head, "I am still here, alerting seafaring vessels losing their way, trouble maybe ahead."

Confidently Leonardo listened, "did you get a free bulb when you bought one?"

"I bought a few," Leonardo reported, "enough for emergencies."
