Good use of time

A person lived in a village. He was very good but he had a bad habit. He used to postpone every work. He believed that whatever happens happens due to fate.

One day a saint came to him. That person served the saint a lot.

Pleased with his service, the saint gave him the Parsh stone and said- I am very happy with your service. That is why I am giving you this Parsh stone. I will take it from you after seven days. In the meantime, you can make as much gold as you want.

That person was not able to find iron. He searched for iron in his house. When he found a little iron, he made gold out of it and sold it in the market and bought some goods.

The next day he went to the market to buy iron. Seeing that it was available at a high price at that time, that person returned home.

When he went to the market again after three days, he came to know that this time it had become even more expensive. That is why he returned without buying iron.

He thought- one day iron will definitely become cheaper. I will buy it only when it becomes cheaper. Thinking this, he did not buy iron.

On the eighth day, the sage came to him to take the Paras. The person said- all my time has passed like this. I have not been able to make any gold yet. Please let this stone stay with me for a few more days. But the sage did not agree.

The sage said- a man like you cannot do anything in life. If someone else would have been in your place, then who knows what all he would have done till now. The person who does not know how to use time, is always unhappy. Saying this, the sage Maharaj went away with the stone.

The person who keeps postponing work, does not use time properly and only relies on luck, is always unhappy.

*Always be happy - what you have is enough.*

*The one whose mind is happy - he has everything.*
