Records hidden beneath Arendelle’s castle tell of another child born the same night as Elsa — a twin, still and blue. The midwives swore they heard the baby cry when placed near the fire, but by morning, the body was gone.

Years later, explorers found ice caves shaped like lungs, exhaling frost. Inside lay a figure identical to Elsa — eyes closed, skin glowing faintly.
