Frail, they deemed her frail as a child. The surgeons skilled hands pulled the last few stitches. Mulling the thought over in her mind. Curiously she looked at the multiple scars across experiment 377 chest. Heart surgeries, lung issues, multiple broken bones due to a brittle bone condition, and now she lay on the table, infused with extra terrestrial life form, and the physically perfect human. Even as the other members of the team removed the intubation tube, iv's, and other accompanying instruments the sutures were visibly growing new skin. She had never gotten this far. She looked over the brown hair, blue eyes, and pale skin.

The eyes fluttered, crawling to consciousness. She spoke low and even, "Experiment 377, do you know where you are?"

377 sat up, her eyes piercing. She picked up her hands, staring at them. Rolling her fingers open and closed. "I was never frail." 377’s tone was nonchalant.

The surgeon faltered, her very thought, stolen? "Yes, and I was never frail.” Her mouth opened, words slipping past her lips unspoken. “No, the demon you put in me didn't give me the ability to read minds. I have always had it. My little secret. Then the powers that be found me to be 'frail', 'ideal' for your experiments." 377 grabbed a chunk of metal from the side of the bed and dusted it in her hand. "My mind took the necessary power from my body, knowing it was unnecessary. Now, thanks to you I have both the perfect mind and body. No need to be afraid doctor, I would no more blame a scalp than you. A tool wielded by the powerful. But you tell them I am not 377, but Ms Fant. And they will answer for the crimes against humanity."
