ETHERISM & POETIC RITUALS
Everything is connected, and nothing is lost
The name is intentionally chosen. It’s a way to combine my various areas of knowledge. Yet, here, once again, poetry, or poeticness, remains my primary focus. I have nothing against science or other arts, but writing poetry is a "creative" act, divine in nature, and serves to create and change the world (into the World) and convey deeper knowledge. In this sense, even Aristotle was wrong when he claimed in his Poetics that literature was "more philosophical" than historiography, but still beneath philosophy. Indeed, the first philosophies were in verse, in meter. Besides meaning, their sound, tonal quality was also important—more mnemonically powerful, it transmits knowledge while simultaneously invoking and awakening it, not remaining at the intellectual level alone, but extending to the soul, the spirit, the emotional, and even physical knowledge and memory.
One of the ideas, the intention, was to break away from all those so-called "New Age" things and trends. As much truth as there may be in them, the greatest truth is that most of that knowledge is not new, but simply popularised in a superficial, and sometimes inaccurate, way. Also, the idea is to return to or get to know our more original traditions, and then enter the World in the right way.
This means intuition, inspiration, the ease of living, it means the superiority of the spiritual over the material, but with the joy of the body. Similarly, abandoning the rationalistic discourse, aided by the internet, and the literal empirical level of today’s science, for example, the influence of speech on the subconscious, which with its checks and confirmations not only reduces man to the material, takes away his soul and dreams, but desacralizes the world, and is at least several thousand years behind. Therefore, the return to the language and imagery of folk literature, which not only always knew this but applied it from the earliest stages of life in lullabies. Of all the meditations, quantum programs, the most valuable are words spontaneously spoken on a pillow, then poetry, with a much deeper, more refined, and universal language and meaning, as a blend of the noblest voices from all of human history, and perhaps the entire Cosmos. A mother singing a lullaby creates a hero, creates God, the Sun; the more love, desire, and skill she puts into it, the brighter Life becomes. That’s why the "heart of the hero" is always large, sometimes larger than the world. And again, as in everything else, not only for me but in general, one of the predecessors was Crnjanski. Thus, he says in one place that true poetry can only be written in the language our mother sang lullabies to us in, and on which we heard the whisper of a beloved.
Originally, the first meaning of etherism comes from Crnjanski, in a poem dedicated to Ivo Andrić; the theoretical basis is essentially Taoist: "Everything is connected, and nothing is lost." Which he quickly renamed as Sumatraism. Of course, this was also one of the tributes to Tesla. There are many similarities with the works of the Acmeists, especially in their understanding of the Virgin Mary, fellowship (Serb. “sabornost“), Slavs' identity, and he likely knew of them, but it is also likely that he had shared sources. The closeness of Steiner with Andrei Bely is well-known, but whether all the Symbolists were Theosophists (Mendeleev’s daughter was married to Alexander Blok) is still a question. In the original periodic system, there was ether as an element. Incidentally, ether is the fifth building element, although it has different names and uses in various systems, and Aristotle omits it, even though it is known in the Vedas and Upanishads, and teachings arising from them. Only in Vastu, the science of space construction and arrangement, is it called "Space," and sometimes Akasha. By its nature, it is the only immaterial; transparent/radiant (untranslatable play of words: in Serbian: pro(zračan).
Therefore, this site will be open to all topics, phenomena, and people that serve the joy of life, who either have rejoiced in life or do so now, and though they may seem trivial due to their ease, if Life is the world, then every day is the world, even when it is not a holiday, and every work is the world, and every act is the world.
