Delilah had always dreamed of flying. Every night, she would lie in bed, her mind racing with the possibilities.
Racing against the wind, soaring above the clouds, she could almost feel the cool air on her face as she drifted into sleep.
Every morning, she would wake up, her heart heavy with the weight of gravity pulling her back down to Earth.
All she needed was a way to make her dreams a reality, a way to escape the bonds that held her down.
Maybe one day, she thought, closing her eyes once more, she would finally find her wings and take flight.
