The field of wheat looked golden under the gray sky.

“Why are we out here, again?” Lisa asked Loreen, clutching her coat closer.

“We’re waiting,” Loreen replied.

Lisa didn’t ask much more since she knew why they stood out on the unseasonably cold spring day in Dover, Delaware. Finally, a small bus that appeared as oxblood pulled up to Loreen’s own automobile.

“You have to forgive me. I just touched down in Wilmington and….” Zach Voss tried to explain.

“It’s alright, but my consultation fee just increased five percent,” Loreen declared.

“Absolutely. Totally. But let’s get to it then. Again, my apologies.”

“That’s right. You wish to build a studio for entertainment and sporting events. This should cost around fifty million. You’re going to want to start laying a foundation by the summer and everything should be up and running in three years,” Loreen outlined.

Voss made his “director’s hands” trying to visualize just what it would look like in the coming months.

“I don’t have the money for that, though. I mean I have your money but fifty mil’, no.”

“You can get investors to finance the project like you did with your film Succeeding Up,” Lisa suggested.

“I could…but then I’ll lose another forty million again. Nobody asked for their money because it wasn’t an investment, materially anyway. That was one hell of a lesson. But I can start something like using my vineyard money to finance my next film. This one will be big.”

“We expect you’re going to have great acclaim again, but will you be able to turn a profit?” Loreen asked.

“I’m sure of it. I’ve been experimenting with this whole digital phase in my career. I’ve been writing all sorts of stuff for the streamers. I can get this money.”

“I hope so.”
