Inscribed on each mint in the dish, an F existed.

“Ladies please come this way to my office,” Rhett Fetterman invited Loreen and Lisa into his space. Portraits adorned the walls depicting the family legacy.

“I’m looking at scaling up,” Fetterman blurted out.

“If you mean other locations around the state—” Loreen started.

“No, ma’am. I mean we want our services to stretch across the country. Maybe international….” he pondered. “I’ve got plans for America and we can get to the globe later.”

“We’ve outlined a plan for the state. From Sussex and Kent to here in New Castle, you’ll be able to bring about a stronger presence here.”

“I hear you talking but I want a chain of mortuaries and crematoria. I want to emphasize the drive-thru model where family and friends can observe the loved one. I’d like those to pop up all over Delaware and other states.”

Loreen and Lisa exchanged glances. “Our services extend only to these sites in Delaware. We can—”

“So, you’re saying that you can’t do it? You’re Businesswoman and Businessgirl…you can do everything.”

Loreen lifted a first finger. “Almost anything,” she corrected with so much politeness.

“Okay, you two don’t have to be here, respectfully,” Fetterman replied.

Loreen breathed. “We’re here to protect your interests and suggest investments into new spaces. That’s why you called us. We’re more than prepared to meet those ends.”

Fetterman took a beat. “This funeral home has been in my family for four generations. I just want to make it greater….”

“And we can do that,” Lisa reassured. “We can offer assistance with tax avoidance as well as finding new properties.”

“You must forgive me. I’ve had a few shooting deaths as of late and those are always trying for everyone,” Fetterman apologized and explained.

“It’s alright.”

Interesting take on drive thru mortuary and cremation for family members worldwide. I see business woman as rather a take km controlling the world. Rather dystopian and we'll written 🌹🌹🌹🌹
